This notice explains how Service en Place uses AI-assisted processing. It is a trust and transparency notice, not a product feature pitch.

Service en Place uses AI-assisted extraction and classification to help turn documents you submit into operating records. AI assists operator judgement; it does not replace it.

How AI is used

Service en Place may use AI-assisted extraction, classification, and drafting for supported features. AI is used to assist, not to replace, operator judgement.

Examples of AI-assisted features include:

- Menu and invoice extraction

- Cost suggestion drafting

What is and is not sent to AI

Documents you submit for extraction may be processed to produce drafts.

Payroll-sensitive labour data is not sent to AI by default. Please do not submit unnecessary guest personal data.

Reviewing AI outputs

AI-assisted outputs are drafts. Review and confirm them before relying on them.

Operators confirm outputs before relying on them. AI-assisted outputs can be wrong, so always review them before you rely on them.

Retention of AI outputs

Operators confirm AI-assisted outputs before relying on them. Raw AI payload fields have a configured 30-day retention target and can be cleared by an authorised, scoped retention or data-request action when eligible. The application defaults the retention executor to dry-run unless destructive execution is explicitly enabled, so this target is not a guarantee of automatic deletion at exactly 30 days. AI-assisted outputs can contain mistakes.
